The WORX WG801 20V Cordless Shrub Shear features a tool-free blade change system, making it easy to swap blades. Here is the step-by-step process for changing the blades:
1. Ensure that the tool is turned off and the battery pack is removed for safety.
2. Locate the tool-free drive cover release button on the side of the tool. Press and hold this button to release the drive cover.
3. Once the drive cover is released, carefully remove it from the tool.
4. With the drive cover removed, you will have access to the blades. Take note of the grass shear blade and the shrub shear blade.
5. To remove the current blade, firmly grasp it and pull it straight out from the tool. Be cautious of the sharp edges.
6. Align the new blade with the blade slot in the tool and firmly push it in until it clicks into place. Ensure that the blade is securely attached.
