The Petrainer PET998DBB Rechargeable Dog Training Collar is not designed to be worn constantly. It is recommended to not leave the collar on your dog for more than 12 hours out of every 24-hour period. Wearing the collar for extended periods can cause skin irritation and pressure sores. It is important to give your dog breaks from wearing the collar to ensure their comfort and safety. Additionally, it is advised to reposition the collar on your dog's neck every 1 to 2 hours to prevent excessive pressure. Remember to wash your dog's neck area and the contacts of the collar weekly with a damp cloth to maintain cleanliness and check for any signs of rash or sore. If any skin issues are found, discontinue use of the collar until the skin has healed.
