To sharpen a pencil using the X-ACTO 1670X SchoolPro Electric Pencil Sharpener, please follow these steps:
1. Insert the AC plug into a nearby 120-volt outlet.
2. Select the correct opening on the sharpener for your pencil's diameter.
3. Gently but firmly insert the pencil into the sharpener. Do not force it.
4. The motor will start automatically once the pencil is inserted correctly.
5. When the pencil is sharpened, the automatic Pencil Stop feature will shift the cutters away from the sharpened point.
6. Remove the sharpened pencil from the sharpener.
Note: The motor does not shut off automatically when the pencil is sharpened.
