To connect the Zodiac MX6 Suction Pool Cleaner to your pool, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the vacuum suction fittings installed in your pool for connection of the suction-side pool cleaner are certified compliant with applicable safety standards, such as IAPMO SPS 4.
2. Turn off the pool filter pump to avoid any potential injury.
3. Clean the pool filter, pump basket, and skimmer basket to ensure optimal performance.
4. Close the main drain to the pool.
5. Determine whether you will connect the cleaner to a skimmer or a dedicated suction line.
6. Calculate the required length of hose by measuring the farthest point across the pool and adding 1 (Leader Hose) to it.
7. Submerge the hose and flood it with water until no bubbles are visible.
8. Submerge the cleaner and flood it with water until no bubbles are visible.
9. Connect the cleaner head to the hose securely.
10. Turn on the pool filter pump.
