Adjusting the chain tension on the Peektook SKU002010 Electric Mini Chainsaw is a simple process. Here are the step-by-step instructions:
1. Ensure the chainsaw is turned off and the battery is removed for safety.
2. Locate the chain tensioning xxxx or xxxx on the side of the chainsaw near the guide bar.
3. Use a screwdriver or the included wrench to turn the chain tensioning xxxx or xxxx counterclockwise to loosen the chain.
4. Once the chain is loose, pull it up from the bottom of the guide bar to ensure proper tension.
5. While holding the chain in the proper tension position, turn the chain tensioning xxxx or xxxx clockwise to tighten the chain.
6. Check the tension by pulling up on the chain from the bottom of the guide bar. It should have a slight resistance but still be able to move freely.
