Adjusting the chain tension on the RLSOO HC1610-1261000 chainsaw is a straightforward process. Here are the steps to follow:
1. Ensure the chainsaw is turned off and the battery pack is disconnected for safety.
2. Locate the chain tensioning xxxx on the side of the chainsaw. It is usually located near the guide bar.
3. Use the provided screwdriver from the package to loosen the chain tensioning xxxx . Turn it counterclockwise to release the tension on the chain.
4. Once the tension is released, you can adjust the chain tension by turning the chain tensioning xxxx clockwise or counterclockwise. Turning it clockwise will tighten the chain, while turning it counterclockwise will loosen the chain.
