To assemble the Greenworks PS40B210 40V 8-Inch Cordless Polesaw, follow these steps:
1. Unpack the product and inspect it for any damage or missing parts.
2. Carefully remove the polesaw handle assembly, pole assembly, and polesaw head assembly from the box.
3. Insert the polesaw handle into the saw head assembly.
4. Slide the collar upwards and turn it clockwise until it is completely tightened.
5. If you want to extend the length of the polesaw, slide the collars up and rotate them clockwise until they are completely tightened.
6. To remove the saw head, rest the polesaw on the ground, loosen the coupler, and then take off the saw head.
7. To add bar and chain lubricant, remove the oil cap and carefully pour the lubricant into the oil tank. Wipe off any excess oil.
8. Check the chain tension and adjust it if necessary. To increase the chain tension, turn the chain tensioner adjustment xxxx clockwise. To reduce the chain tension, turn the xxxx counterclockwise.
9. Once the assembly is complete, insert the battery pack into the polesaw handle and ensure that it is securely locked in place.
