To adjust the chain tension on the EGO Power+ CS1600 56V Lithium-Ion Cordless Chainsaw, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the chainsaw is turned off and the battery is removed for safety.
2. Locate the tool-less chain tensioning xxxx on the side of the chainsaw, near the guide bar.
3. Rotate the chain tensioning xxxx counterclockwise to loosen the chain tension.
4. Use the chain tensioning xxxx to adjust the tension of the chain. The chain should have a slight sag but should not be too loose.
5. Once the desired tension is achieved, rotate the chain tensioning xxxx clockwise to tighten the chain.
6. Check the tension by pulling the chain away from the guide bar. It should move freely but not come off the bar.
7. Reinstall the battery and ensure that it is securely in place before operating the chainsaw.
