To charge the NOCO Genius Boost XL GB50, follow these steps:
1. Connect the GB50 to a power source using the included USB Charge Cable. You can use a USB car charger, AC adapter, laptop, or any other USB powered port.
2. Plug one end of the USB Charge Cable into the USB IN port on the GB50.
3. Plug the other end of the USB Charge Cable into the power source.
4. The GB50 comes partially charged, but it is recommended to fully charge it before use. The charging time will vary depending on the discharge level and the power source used.
5. While charging, the Charge LEDs on the GB50 will slowly pulse on and off. As the battery charges, the LEDs will become solid until all four Charge LEDs are on.
6. When the battery is fully charged, the Green 100% LED will be solid, and the 25%, 50%, and 75% Charge LEDs will turn off.
7. From time to time, the Green 100% LED may pulse, indicating maintenance charging is occurring.
Note: It is important to use the included USB Charge Cable and a NOCO 10W 12V power adapter for safe and efficient charging. Using damaged cables or chargers, or charging when moisture is present, can result in electric shock. Using generic or third-party power adapters may shorten the life of your product and cause it to malfunction.
