Setting up the BIGtec AC15-WT02 WiFi Range Extender is a straightforward process. Here are the step-by-step instructions:
1. Ensure that your WiFi router is turned on and functioning properly.
2. Plug the AC15-WT02 WiFi Range Extender into a power outlet within the range of your existing WiFi network. Make sure the extender is placed in an area where it can receive a strong WiFi signal from your router.
3. Wait for the extender to power on and the LED indicators to stabilize. The LED indicators will display the signal strength of your WiFi connection.
4. On your computer or mobile device, go to the WiFi settings and connect to the network named "BIGtec_EXT."
5. Once connected, open a web browser and enter "http://ap.setup" or "http://192.168.10.1" in the address bar. Press Enter.
6. You will be directed to the extender's web-based setup page. Follow the on-screen instructions to configure the extender.
7. Select your preferred language and click "Next."
8. Choose the mode you want to set up the extender in. The options are "Repeater Mode," "AP Mode," or "Router Mode." Select the appropriate mode for your needs and click "Next."
9. The extender will scan for available WiFi networks. Select your existing WiFi network from the list and click "Next."
10. Enter the password for your existing WiFi network and click "Next."
11. You will have the option to change the extended WiFi network's SSID (network name) and password. You can also choose to keep the same SSID and password as your existing network. Make your desired changes and click "Next."
12. Review the settings you have chosen and click "Apply" to save the configuration.
13. The extender will apply the settings and restart. This may take a few minutes.
14. Once the extender has restarted, it will be connected to your existing WiFi network and ready to use. You can now connect your devices to the extended WiFi network.
