To connect your Rachio 8ZULW-C Smart Sprinkler Controller to Wi-Fi, follow these steps:
1. Download the Rachio app: Find the Rachio app on the Apple App Store or Google Play, or visit rachio.com/download to download and install the app on your smartphone or tablet.
2. Create an account: Open the Rachio app and create your account by following the on-screen instructions.
3. Add Controller: Once your account is created, open the Rachio app and select "Add Controller" from the main menu.
4. Follow the app instructions: The app will guide you through the process of connecting your controller to Wi-Fi. Make sure your smartphone or tablet is connected to the same Wi-Fi network that you want to connect your controller to.
5. Connect your controller: The app will prompt you to connect your controller to power and wait for the light bar to pulse blue. Once the light bar is pulsing blue, tap "Next" in the app.
6. Select your Wi-Fi network: The app will display a list of available Wi-Fi networks. Select your desired network and enter the password if prompted. Tap "Connect" to proceed.
7. Wait for connection: The app will attempt to connect your controller to the selected Wi-Fi network. This process may take a few moments. Once the connection is established, the app will notify you.
8. Complete setup: Follow the remaining instructions in the app to customize your zones, create watering schedules, and personalize your settings.
