The Crioxen 318U Bug Zapper attracts insects using its 9W UV lamp, which emits UV light that is attractive to flying insects such as mosquitoes, flies, and moths. Once the insects are attracted to the UV light, they either come into contact with the electric grid or get trapped on a sticky surface. The bug zapper's 800V metal grid quickly electrocutes the insects, while the sticky trap immobilizes them. This dual mechanism ensures effective elimination of flying insects.
