To switch between devices on the ABLEWE KVM-Switches USB and HDMI Switch, you have three options:
1. Button Switch: You can switch to any port by using the buttons on the front panel of the switch.
2. Click Mouse Switch:
- For a 2 port dual KVM switch: Double click the middle roller of the mouse for circular switching within 1 second.
- For a 4 port dual KVM switch:
a. Double-click the middle roller of the mouse, and then press the right mouse button to switch to the next port.
b. Double-click the middle roller of the mouse, then press the left mouse button to switch to the previous port.
3. Keyboard Hot-key Switch: You can use a keyboard hot-key combination to switch between devices. The default hotkey is the right Ctrl key. Here's how to use it:
- Double click the right Ctrl key + Port Number + Enter.
For example, to switch to the second port, you would double click the right Ctrl key + 2 + Enter.
Note: If the default hotkey conflicts with another hot-key, you can change the hotkey to Num Lock or Scroll Lock. Please refer to section VIII of the user manual for instructions on changing the hotkey setting.
