To set up the Echo Dot (3rd Gen) and connect it to your Wi-Fi, follow these steps:
1. Plug in the Echo Dot using the power adapter provided.
2. Download and open the Alexa app on your smartphone or tablet.
3. Sign in to your Amazon account or create a new one if you don't have an account.
4. Tap on the Devices tab at the bottom right corner of the app.
5. Tap on the "+" icon at the top right corner of the Devices tab.
6. Select "Add Device" and choose "Amazon Echo" from the list.
7. Select "Echo Dot" and follow the on-screen instructions to set up your Echo Dot.
8. When prompted, press and hold the Action button on the Echo Dot until the light ring turns orange.
9. Wait for the Echo Dot to appear in the app and select it.
10. Choose your Wi-Fi network from the list and enter the password if required.
11. Wait for the Echo Dot to connect to your Wi-Fi network. The light ring will turn blue once connected.
12. Follow the additional prompts in the app to customize your Echo Dot settings and preferences.
