To set the time and alarms on the iHome iHM46 Portable USB Charging Dual Alarm Clock, follow these steps:
1. Setting the Time:
- Press and hold the Time Set Button for 2 seconds until the hour display flashes and a beep sounds.
- Use the - or + Button to adjust the hour. Hold the button for rapid adjustment.
- Press the Time Set Button again to move to the minute setting. The minute display will flash.
- Use the - or + Button to adjust the minute. Hold the button for rapid adjustment.
- Press the Time Set Button again to confirm the clock setting. You will hear 2 beeps indicating the clock time is set.
2. Setting the Alarms:
- Press and hold the Alarm 1 Button until the current alarm time display flashes and a beep sounds.
- Use the - or + Button to adjust the hour. Hold the button for rapid adjustment.
- Press the Alarm 1 Button again to move to the minute setting. The minute display will flash.
- Use the - or + Button to adjust the minute. Hold the button for rapid adjustment.
- Press the Alarm 1 Button again to exit the alarm setting mode. You should hear 2 beeps indicating the alarm is set.
Note: The same steps can be followed to set Alarm 2 using the Alarm 2 Button.
3. Snooze/Dimmer Operation:
- To snooze during the alarm, press the Snooze/Dimmer Button. The alarm will be silenced for 9 minutes (or for a programmed snooze duration).
- To adjust the snooze duration, press and hold the Snooze/Dimmer Button for 2 seconds until the ZZZ indicator, snooze time, and MIN display flash. Use the - or + Buttons to adjust the duration (between 1 - 29 minutes). Press the Snooze/Dimmer Button to confirm.
4. Display Brightness:
- During normal operation with the AC adaptor, press the Snooze/Dimmer Button repeatedly to adjust the brightness of the LCD display.
- During portable operation with 4 "AA" batteries, the LCD backlight will display for about 5 seconds when you press the Snooze/Dimmer Button once.
