Setting up the C2G 40019 Optical to Coaxial Digital Audio Converter is a straightforward process. Here are the steps to follow:
1. Determine the optical audio source device you want to connect to the converter, such as a media player, DVD player, gaming console, or TV.
2. Locate the optical audio output port on your source device, typically labeled as "Optical Out" or "TOSLINK Out."
3. Connect one end of a TOSLINK optical cable (not included in the package) to the optical output port of your source device.
4. Connect the other end of the TOSLINK optical cable to the optical input port of the C2G 40019 converter, labeled as "Optical In."
5. Identify the coaxial audio receiver or device you want to connect to the converter, such as a soundbar or audio receiver.
6. Find the coaxial audio input port on your receiver or device, usually labeled as "Coaxial In" or "RCA In."
