To switch between HDMI inputs on the , you have two options: Auto Switching Mode and Manual Switching Mode.
1. Auto Switching Mode: In this mode, the switch automatically detects and selects the active input source. It follows these rules:
- When a new input signal is detected, the switch automatically selects that input.
- The switch remembers its switching state when power is lost. When power is restored, it will attempt to select the last input used. If that input is not available, it automatically selects the lowest numbered active input.
- When the selected source is removed, the switch automatically selects the lowest numbered active input.
2. Manual Switching Mode: In this mode, you can manually select the input source using the SOURCE AUTO/3s button or the included IR remote control.
- To cycle through the available active inputs, momentarily press the SOURCE AUTO/3s button.
- To toggle between Auto Switching Mode and Manual Switching Mode, press and hold the SOURCE AUTO/3s button for 3 seconds or press the AUTO button on the remote control.
Please refer to the "Switching Modes" section in the user manual for more details and visual representations of the front panel buttons.
Note: The AUTO LED on the front panel of the switch indicates the current switching mode. It illuminates blue in Auto Switching Mode and is off in Manual Switching Mode.
