To switch between HDMI inputs and outputs on the Monoprice Blackbird 44438 8K HDMI 2X2 Matrix Switcher, you can use either the buttons on the device or the included remote control. Here are the steps:
1. Using the buttons on the device:
a. Identify the HDMI input sources connected to the IN 1 and IN 2 ports.
b. Identify the HDMI output displays connected to the OUT 1 and OUT 2 ports.
c. Press the OUT 1-2 button on the front panel of the Matrix Switcher.
d. Each press of the OUT 1-2 button will cycle through the available HDMI input sources and distribute the selected source to the corresponding output display.
2. Using the remote control:
a. Ensure that the Matrix Switcher is powered on and the remote control has a clear line of sight to the device.
b. Press the power button on the remote control to turn on the Matrix Switcher or set it to standby mode.
c. Press the 1 or 2 buttons on the remote control to select an HDMI input source for the corresponding OUT 1 or OUT 2 port.
d. Alternatively, you can press the OUT 1-2 button on the remote control to cyclically switch the HDMI input source to the corresponding output display.
