To connect a subwoofer or tactile transducer to the XJ-300ST amplifier, follow these steps:
1. Make sure the front toggle switch on the amplifier is set to "LOWPASS" mode.
2. Set the crossover control on the front panel to the appropriate frequency range for your subwoofer or tactile transducer. The recommended crossover settings are as follows:
- For THOR In-Wall Subwoofer or Q10B Tactile Transducer: Set the crossover between 50Hz - 100Hz.
- For MQB1 Tactile Transducer: Set the crossover to 70Hz (9 o'clock position).
3. Connect the positive (+) speaker wire from the subwoofer or tactile transducer to the L+ terminal on the amplifier.
4. Connect the negative (-) speaker wire from the subwoofer or tactile transducer to the R- terminal on the amplifier.
5. If you are using the XJ-300ST as a monoblock amplifier, make sure the front toggle switch is set to "LOWPASS" and connect the positive speaker wire to the L+ terminal and the negative speaker wire to the R- terminal.
6. Ensure that the volume setting on the amplifier is set to the desired level. Start at the MIN position and gradually increase the volume to achieve the desired sound level.
