To install the Earthquake Sound Image 5X in-wall speakers, follow these steps:
1. Locate and mark the 2x4s on the wall where you want to install the speakers. Use the supplied speaker template to outline the hole, making sure to stay clear from the 2x4s.
2. Use a drywall saw to cut out the opening according to the outlined template.
3. Attach the speaker wire to the back of the Image 5X speaker.
4. Insert the Image 5X speaker into the wall opening, aligning it in position.
5. Tighten the screws evenly to secure the unit in place.
6. Align the grille (speaker cover) in position and gently push it into place.
