To connect the C2G 40881 audio amplifier to your audio source and speakers, follow these steps:
1. Option A: If you are connecting the audio source directly to the amplifier, use a 3.5mm or RCA stereo audio cable to connect the audio source to the audio input on the amplifier.
2. Option B: If you are using a ground loop filter to eliminate noise from multiple connected devices, turn the switch on the GLF button to the On position.
3. Connect each speaker to the corresponding pin location on the captive xxxx plug on the amplifier using the wires from the speakers. Refer to the pin diagram on page 7 of the user manual for the correct pin locations.
4. If you are using an external volume control, strip off the insulation from the external volume control wire by 3/16". Make sure the wire ends do not touch. Insert all 3 pins from the external volume control into the corresponding pin location on the captive xxxx plug. Refer to the diagram on page 9 of the user manual for the correct pin locations.
5. If you are setting up a PA system, refer to the wiring diagram on page 10 of the user manual.
6. Insert the captive xxxx plug on the back of the amplifier.
7. After all connections have been made, connect the power supply to the amplifier and the power cable to an available wall outlet. Make sure to connect the wire with the white stripe (positive) to the positive input on the amplifier.
