To connect the Smof 30pin-4871 Bluetooth Adapter to your SoundDock, please follow these steps:
1. Plug in the 30-pin base of the adapter into the 30-pin connector on your SoundDock.
2. Turn on the adapter by pressing the power button. The blue light on the adapter will start flashing.
3. The SoundDock should automatically switch to "pod mode" when the adapter is connected. If it doesn't, you can manually change the mode to "pod mode" by pressing the mode key on the adapter.
4. On your phone, go to Settings and open Bluetooth.
5. Search for "Soul 2" in the list of available devices and click on it to start the pairing process.
6. Once the pairing is successful, you should hear a confirmation sound from the SoundDock, indicating that it is connected to your phone via Bluetooth.
If you are not hearing any sound from the SoundDock after pairing, you can try the following troubleshooting steps:
1. Connect a 3.5mm audio cable to the AUX or AUDIO IN port on the adapter.
2. Make sure the audio source on the SoundDock is set to AUX or AUDIO IN. This step is crucial for proper sound output.
3. Play the music again on your phone and check if you can hear it through the SoundDock.

Please note that the Smof 30pin-4871 Bluetooth Adapter is designed for use with SoundDock speaker systems with a 30-pin Apple connector. It is not recommended for use in automobiles.
