To connect the D15 3.0 Home Theater System to your amplifier or receiver, follow these steps:
1. Strip 1/4" (6mm) of wire insulation from the speaker wire.
2. Identify the markings on the wire and assign + and -.
3. If applicable, apply banana plugs or spades to the wire.
4. Unscrew a set of binding posts on the back of the speakers and insert the bare wire into the center hole.
5. Tighten the binding posts until the wire is secure.
6. Ensure proper polarity by connecting the + terminal on the speaker to the + terminal on the amplifier or receiver, and the - terminal on the speaker to the - terminal on the amplifier or receiver.
Note: If you decide to bi-wire or bi-amp the speakers, you must remove the flat metal jumpers between the terminal posts. Bi-wiring and bi-amping can provide noticeable improvements in sound quality, but it requires separate speaker wire connections and amplifiers for the high and low-frequency sections of the speakers. Refer to the owner's manual for more information on bi-wiring and bi-amping.
