Setting up the Amped ALLY-R1900 Whole Home Smart Wi-Fi Router is a straightforward process. Here are the step-by-step instructions:
1. Start by unpacking the contents of the box, which should include the ALLY Router, Power Adapter, RJ-45 Ethernet Cable, and Setup Guide.
2. Connect one end of the Ethernet cable to the WAN port on the back of the ALLY-R1900 router.
3. Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to your modem's Ethernet port.
4. Plug the power adapter into the ALLY-R1900 router and connect it to a power outlet.
5. Wait for the router to power on and initialize. This process may take a few minutes.
6. Once the router is powered on, you can connect your computer or mobile device to the router's Wi-Fi network. The default Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password should be printed on the label on the bottom of the router.
7. Open a web browser on your connected device and enter "http://setup.ampedwireless.com" in the address bar.
8. Follow the on-screen instructions to set up your network. You may be prompted to create a new password for the router's administration settings.
9. During the setup process, you will have the option to customize your network settings, such as network name (SSID), password, and security settings. You can also set up guest networks and enable parental controls.
10. Once you have completed the setup process, the ALLY-R1900 router will be ready to use. You can now enjoy seamless and high-performance Wi-Fi coverage throughout your home.
