To achieve optimal sound quality, it is recommended to position the Cambridge Audio SX-60 Bookshelf Speakers as follows:
1. Ideally, place the speakers and the listening position at equal distances apart for balanced sound dispersion.
2. Experiment with positioning until you are satisfied with the sound.
3. If using speaker stands, it is best to use dedicated stands for optimal stability and sound performance.
4. If placing the speakers on a shelf, ensure there is ample space behind the speaker (minimum 5cm) to prevent sound distortion.
5. If the speakers are positioned on a desk or close to a wall, the bass may become too strong. In such cases, foam bass tuning bungs are provided with the speakers. Inserting these bungs into the ports will reduce bass output and help achieve a more balanced sound.
Please refer to the Cambridge Audio SX-60 Bookshelf Speaker User Manual for more detailed instructions and illustrations on speaker positioning.
