To mount the NHT SuperZero 2.1 Home Theater Speaker on a wall, you will need to use the supplied XuBracket. Here are the step-by-step instructions:
1. Carefully evaluate the mounting surface to ensure it is strong enough to support the speaker.
2. Disassemble the wall bracket from the speaker bracket by removing the swivel bolt and washers that hold them together.
3. Attach the foam gasket to the speaker bracket, fitting it around the plastic guide tabs.
4. Attach the speaker bracket (with gasket) to the SuperZero 2.1 speaker using the speaker bolt. Tighten the bolt with sufficient force to hold it firmly in position, using a low torque setting if using a power screwdriver.
5. Attach the wall bracket to the wall using the appropriate fasteners, ensuring it is securely in place.
6. Re-attach the speaker bracket to the wall bracket using the swivel bolt and washers. The metal washer goes underneath the plastic washer, and both go directly underneath the head of the swivel bolt. Tighten the bolt to a point where it can still be adjusted.
7. Adjust the speaker's angle as desired for optimal sound projection.
8. Once the desired angle is achieved, tighten the swivel bolt with sufficient force to hold the XuBracket firmly in position.
