To set the countdown time on the Learning Resources LER4339 Digital Timer, follow these steps:
1. Insert a AAA battery (required but not included) into the battery compartment, ensuring the correct orientation.
2. Press the MIN (minute) and SEC (second) buttons to set the desired time. For example, if you want to set the timer for 10 minutes, press the MIN button 10 times and the SEC button 0 times.
3. Press the START/STOP button to begin the countdown. The timer will start counting down from the set time.
4. When the timer reaches zero, a loud alarm will sound for 60 seconds. Press the START/STOP button to stop the alarm.
5. The timer will return to the previous time setting, allowing you to reuse it without reprogramming.
