To connect speakers to the Pyle PCM20A amplifier, follow the instructions provided in the user manual. The amplifier supports various speaker configurations:
1. Single Speaker System: Connect the speaker's positive (+) terminal to the amplifier's 8-Ohm terminal.
2. Two (or more) Speakers in Series: Connect the positive (+) terminal of each speaker to the amplifier's 8-Ohm terminal, depending on the total impedance of the speakers. For example, if each speaker has an impedance of 4-Ohm, the total impedance in this series configuration is 8-Ohm.
3. Two (or more) Speakers in Parallel: Connect the positive (+) terminal of each speaker to the amplifier's 8-Ohm terminal, depending on the total impedance of the speakers. For example, if each speaker has an impedance of 16-Ohm, the total impedance in this parallel configuration is 8-Ohm.
4. Four Speakers in Series and Parallel: This configuration allows for combining series and parallel connections. Ensure you calculate the total impedance and attach the speaker (+) circuit wire to the appropriate amp terminal.
Note: Before connecting any speakers, it is essential to calculate the total impedance to avoid damaging the amplifier. The total speaker impedance should not be greater than 8-Ohm or less than 8-Ohm.
