To install the JBL C60PS/T Pendant Subwoofer with Crossover, follow these steps:
1. Determine the desired location for the subwoofer, ensuring it is suitable for pendant mounting.
2. Install the pendant mounting hardware provided with the subwoofer. This typically includes a galvanized steel cable and an adjustable clamp.
3. Attach the galvanized steel cable to the suspension bracket on the subwoofer and adjust the height as needed.
4. Connect the subwoofer to the audio system using the provided input connector. If using satellite speakers, connect them to the appropriate satellite outputs on the subwoofer.
5. If using the built-in passive crossover, ensure that the satellite speakers have sensitivities in the 82 dB to 86 dB range for optimal frequency response.
6. If using the subwoofer on a 70V/100V distributed speaker system, set the transformer taps on the top terminal panel according to the desired power setting.
7. If desired, use the loop-out connector on the subwoofer to send the full-range input signal to additional speakers.
