To connect the Acoustic Audio AA35CB Indoor Center Speaker to your audio source or receiver, follow these steps:
1. Placement: Position the AA35CB speaker below or above the TV or projection screen, centered with the other front speakers.
2. Audio Source: Choose a home theater receiver or amplifier for audio. Check the audio source's center channel output or speaker terminals.
3. Speaker Wire: Connect the AA35CB to your audio source with the right length of speaker wire. Remove half an inch of insulation from each wire end.
4. Sound Source: Find your audio source's center channel output or speaker terminals, usually branded "Center," "C," or "Center Channel."
5. Binding Posts: Unscrew the audio source binding posts and feed the stripped speaker wire into the red (+) and black (-) terminals. Tighten the binding posts.
6. Spring Clips: Press the spring clips down to open them, then plug the stripped speaker wire into the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals. To connect, release spring clips.
7. Speaker Connection: The AA35CB speaker connections are on the rear, usually labeled "Red (+)" and "Black (-)."
8. Binding Posts: Unscrew the speaker binding posts and plug the stripped speaker wire into the red (+) and black (-) terminals. Tighten the binding posts.
9. Spring Clips: Press the spring clips down to open them, then plug the stripped speaker wire into the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals. To connect, release spring clips.
10. Polarity Test: Make sure the audio source's positive (+) terminal and the AA35CB speaker's negative (-) terminal are connected. Phase alignment inhibits sound cancellation.
11. Add more speakers: Connect your front left and right speakers to the audio source terminals using the same method.
12. Power On: After connecting everything, turn on your audio source or amplifier/receiver and test the audio output. Adjust your audio source's volume and settings to balance speaker sound.
