To set the clock on the Sangean WR-2 Wooden Cabinet Digital Tuning Radio, you have two options: manual clock setting or auto clock setting using the Radio Data System (RDS) function. Here are the steps for both methods:
Manual Clock Setting:
1. Press the Menu button on the radio.
2. The display will show "CLOCK SET". Press the Tuning control xxxx to enter the clock setting.
3. Rotate the Tuning control xxxx to select the desired hour and press the Tuning control xxxx to confirm the hour setting. The minute digit will start flashing.
4. Rotate the Tuning control xxxx to adjust the minutes and press the xxxx to confirm the setting. The clock setting is now completed.
Auto Clock Setting (RDS):
1. Tune to a station that transmits RDS data.
2. Press the Menu button on the radio.
3. Rotate the Tuning control xxxx until a clock symbol appears on the display. Press the Tuning control xxxx to enter the setting.
4. Rotate the Tuning control xxxx until "RDS CT" (or "RBDS CT" in the US) appears on the display. Press the Tuning control xxxx to confirm the setting.
5. The clock time of the radio will be automatically set according to the RDS data received. The RDS icon will appear on the LCD display to indicate that the radio time is synchronized with RDS clock time.
Note: The RDS function is mainly available in Europe, the UK, part of Northern America, and some Asian countries only.
If you prefer to set the clock manually without using the RDS function, follow these steps:
1. Press the Menu button on the radio.
2. Rotate the Tuning control xxxx until a clock symbol appears on the left side of the display. Press the Tuning control xxxx to enter the setting.
3. Rotate the Tuning control xxxx until "MANUAL" appears on the display. Press the Tuning control xxxx to select the setting.
4. Follow the steps described in the "Manual Clock Setting" section to set the clock time manually.
Remember to set the clock correctly before setting any alarms or timers on the radio.
