Calibrating the Vondior 100 PSI Heavy Duty Air Pressure Gauge is an important step to ensure accurate readings. Here are the steps to calibrate the gauge:
1. Find a reliable and accurate pressure source: Look for a pressure source that is known to provide accurate readings, such as a calibrated air compressor or a certified pressure gauge.
2. Attach the Vondior gauge to the pressure source: Connect the gauge to the pressure source using the 1/4" NPT pressure connection. Make sure the connection is secure.
3. Compare readings: Once the gauge is connected, compare the reading on the Vondior gauge to the reading on the reliable pressure source. If there is a significant difference, calibration is required.
4. Adjust the calibration xxxx : On the back of the gauge, you will find a small calibration xxxx . Use a small screwdriver to turn the xxxx clockwise or counterclockwise to adjust the calibration. Refer to the user manual for specific instructions on which direction to turn the xxxx to increase or decrease the reading.
5. Repeat the process: After adjusting the calibration xxxx , repeat steps 2 and 3 to check if the readings on the Vondior gauge match the reliable pressure source. Continue adjusting the calibration xxxx until the readings are within an acceptable range.
Note: It is recommended to perform calibration periodically to ensure accurate readings. If you are unsure about the calibration process or encounter any issues, it is best to consult the user manual or contact Vondior customer support for further assistance.
