Calibrating the JACO Superior Products JSP-013 FlowPro Digital Tire Inflator is a straightforward process. Here are the steps to calibrate the inflator:
1. Ensure that the inflator is turned off and not connected to a tire valve stem.
2. Press and hold the power button for approximately 3 seconds until the display shows "CAL" (calibration mode).
3. While in calibration mode, press and hold the power button again for approximately 3 seconds until the display shows "CAL 0.00" (zero calibration).
4. Attach the inflator to a reliable pressure source, such as a calibrated pressure gauge or a known accurate tire inflator.
5. Activate the pressure source and adjust it to a known pressure value, such as 30 PSI.
6. Once the pressure stabilizes, press the power button on the JSP-013 inflator to capture the pressure reading.
7. The display will show the captured pressure value. Compare this value to the known pressure value set on the pressure source.
8. If the displayed pressure value differs from the known pressure value, you can adjust the calibration by pressing the "+" or "-" buttons on the inflator to increase or decrease the displayed value accordingly.
9. Repeat steps 6 to 8 until the displayed pressure value matches the known pressure value.
10. Once the calibration is complete, press and hold the power button for approximately 3 seconds to exit calibration mode.
