Calibrating the JACO Superior Products JSP-030 2.0 Digital Tire Inflator is a simple process. Here are the steps to calibrate the inflator:
1. Ensure that the inflator is turned off and not connected to a tire valve.
2. Press and hold the power button for approximately 5 seconds until the display shows "CAL".
3. Release the power button and the display will show the current calibration setting.
4. Use the "+" and "-" buttons to adjust the calibration setting to match a known accurate pressure source. For example, if you have a separate pressure gauge that you trust, you can use that to set the calibration.
5. Once you have set the calibration, press and hold the power button for approximately 5 seconds to save the new calibration setting.
6. The display will briefly show "CAL OK" to indicate that the calibration has been successfully set.
Note: It is recommended to recalibrate the inflator periodically to ensure accurate readings. If you do not have access to a known accurate pressure source, you can also compare the readings of the inflator with another reliable pressure gauge to verify its accuracy.
