To connect the Rybozen AU511US Digital to Analog Audio Converter to your TV and speakers, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that your TV has an optical audio output and your speakers have RCA inputs. The AU511US converter supports optical and coaxial digital audio inputs and provides RCA (stereo) and 3.5mm headphone jack outputs for analog audio.
2. Connect one end of the included Toslink cable (optical cable) to the optical audio output of your TV.
3. Connect the other end of the Toslink cable to the optical input of the AU511US converter.
4. Use a standard audio cable with RCA jacks (not included) to connect the RCA outputs of the AU511US converter to the RCA inputs of your speakers. Make sure to match the left (L) and right (R) channels correctly.
5. Plug the included 5V/1A power supply into the power input of the AU511US converter.
6. Plug the power supply into an electrical outlet.
7. Turn on your TV and speakers.
8. Set your TV's audio output to "PCM" or "LPCM" mode. This ensures that the digital audio signal is compatible with the AU511US converter.
9. Adjust the volume on your speakers to a comfortable level.
Your TV's digital audio signal will now be converted to analog audio by the AU511US converter and played through your speakers. Enjoy your audio experience!
