To connect external speakers to the Amazon Basics TT601S Turntable, you have a few options:
1. Line-Out: The turntable has a line-out jack that can be used to connect to external speakers or amplifiers. You will need an RCA cable (not included) to connect the line-out jack on the turntable to the input jacks on your speakers or amplifier. The red RCA plug connects to the R (right channel) jack, and the white plug connects to the L (left channel) jack.
2. Headphone Jack: Another option is to connect the turntable to powered speakers or a headphone amplifier using the headphone jack on the turntable. You will need a 3.5 mm audio cable (included) to connect the headphone jack on the turntable to the input jack on your speakers or headphone amplifier.
Note: The RCA jacks on the turntable are not designed to connect directly to passive/unpowered speakers. If you connect the turntable to passive speakers, the volume level may be very low. In that case, you will need to use an amplifier or powered speakers.
Please refer to the user manual for more detailed instructions and illustrations on how to connect external speakers to the Amazon Basics TT601S Turntable.
