To set up the MEESTORY 300-SN WiFi Extender Signal Booster, follow these steps:
1. Find an optimal location: Place the extender within the range of your existing WiFi signal but close enough to the area with poor coverage.
2. Power on the extender: Connect the extender to a power outlet using the provided power adapter.
3. Connect to the extender: There are two ways to connect to the extender:
a. WPS button method: Press the WPS button on your router and then press the WPS button on the extender within 2 minutes to establish a secure connection.
b. Manual method: Connect to the extender's WiFi network using the network name (SSID) and password specified in the user manual. You can find this information on the label of the extender or in the user manual.
4. Configure settings: Once connected to the extender, access its settings page through your web browser. Enter the default IP address (e.g., 192.168.0.1) in the address bar and press Enter. You will be prompted to enter the default username and password (usually "admin" for both). From the settings page, you can personalize the network name, password, and other preferences according to your needs.
5. Enjoy enhanced WiFi coverage: Once the settings are configured, you can now experience a stronger and more reliable internet connection throughout your home or office.
