Programming the VTINVAN Universal Remote-Control is a straightforward process. Here are the steps to program the remote:
1. Install Batteries: Open the battery compartment located at the bottom of the remote control. Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring that the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals are correctly aligned. Close the battery compartment.
2. Identify Device Codes: The VTINVAN Universal Remote-Control comes pre-programmed with a database of IR codes for common devices. However, if your specific devices are not listed, you will need to find the corresponding device codes. Refer to the user manual or visit the manufacturer's website to obtain the device codes for your TV, DVD player, and audio system.
3. Enter Programming Mode: Press and hold the "Device Selection" button on the remote control until the LED indicator light turns on.
4. Enter Device Code: Use the numeric keypad on the remote control to enter the device code for your TV. The LED indicator light will flash to confirm the code entry.
5. Test Functionality: Point the remote control towards your TV and press the "Power" button. If the TV turns on or off, the programming was successful. If not, repeat steps 3 and 4 with a different device code until you find the correct one.
6. Repeat for Other Devices: Follow the same steps (3-5) to program the remote control for your DVD player and audio system. Use the appropriate device codes for each device.
7. Test All Functions: Once you have programmed the remote control for all your devices, test all the functions such as power, volume, channel selection, and menu navigation to ensure they are working correctly.
Note: If your devices are not listed in the pre-programmed database and you cannot find the device codes, the VTINVAN Universal Remote-Control also has a learning capability.
