Sure! Here is a step-by-step guide on how to install the VEVOR 150DB Train Horns Kit in your vehicle:
1. Choose a suitable location: Install the system in a cool, dry area, avoiding wet and hot areas. Make sure the compressor motor is installed on a flat surface, avoiding installation at an angle.
2. Install the tank and compressor: It is recommended to install the tank and compressor in the rear trunk of your vehicle. If you need additional nylon air hose, it can be obtained at any hardware store. After installing the tank, compressor, and horns, proceed to install the nylon hoses, ensuring they enter the brass fittings all the way and past the O-rings.
3. Electrical installation: Use 14 gauge or thicker wire for the electrical installation. Do not use thinner wire as the motor uses 15 amps and may use up to 20 amps under stress. Turn off the power switch after the car stalls. Install a 20 amp fuse between your positive 12-volt source and the switch located at the air tank.
4. Follow the provided drawing: Follow the provided drawing closely to avoid mistakes. If you have any doubts, contact an electro-mechanic for help. Avoid using hot solder on the automatic switch located on the air tank, as heat may permanently damage the switch.
5. Regular inspection and maintenance: Regularly inspect the system, especially in wet and dry climates. Drain out the condensate and clean the gas container. The air pressure must be less than 0.1 MPa when the water is released to avoid any risks. Check the compressor piston every two weeks and add a few drops of SAE40 motor oil if needed.
