To program channels into the YAESU Standard Horizon GX1400 Eclipse Fixed Mount VHF Radio, please follow the steps outlined in the owner's manual:
1. Press and hold the [FUNC] button for one second to enter the Function mode.
2. Use the [CH/WX] xxxx to select the desired channel number.
3. Press the [FUNC] button again to enter the Channel Edit mode.
4. Use the [CH/WX] xxxx to select the desired frequency for the channel.
5. Press the [FUNC] button again to enter the Channel Edit mode.
6. Use the [CH/WX] xxxx to select the desired transmit power level (High or Low).
7. Press the [FUNC] button again to enter the Channel Edit mode.
8. Use the [CH/WX] xxxx to select the desired squelch level (Off, 1-9).
9. Press the [FUNC] button again to enter the Channel Edit mode.
10. Use the [CH/WX] xxxx to select the desired scan mode (Normal, Priority, Dual, or Tri).
11. Press the [FUNC] button again to enter the Channel Edit mode.
12. Use the [CH/WX] xxxx to select the desired weather channel mode (On or Off).
13. Press the [FUNC] button again to enter the Channel Edit mode.
14. Use the [CH/WX] xxxx to select the desired weather alert mode (On or Off).
15. Press the [FUNC] button again to enter the Channel Edit mode.
16. Use the [CH/WX] xxxx to select the desired DSC channel mode (On or Off).
17. Press the [FUNC] button again to enter the Channel Edit mode.
18. Use the [CH/WX] xxxx to select the desired DSC call sign.
19. Press the [FUNC] button again to enter the Channel Edit mode.
20. Use the [CH/WX] xxxx to select the desired DSC MMSI number.
21. Press the [FUNC] button again to enter the Channel Edit mode.
22. Use the [CH/WX] xxxx to select the desired DSC position report mode (On or Off).
23. Press the [FUNC] button again to enter the Channel Edit mode.
24. Use the [CH/WX] xxxx to select the desired DSC polling mode (On or Off).
25. Press the [FUNC] button again to enter the Channel Edit mode.
26. Use the [CH/WX] xxxx to select the desired DSC individual call mode (On or Off).
27. Press the [FUNC] button again to enter the Channel Edit mode.
28. Use the [CH/WX] xxxx to select the desired DSC group call mode (On or Off).
29. Press the [FUNC] button again to enter the Channel Edit mode.
30. Use the [CH/WX] xxxx to select the desired DSC all ships call mode (On or Off).
31. Press the [FUNC] button again to enter the Channel Edit mode.
32. Use the [CH/WX] xxxx to select the desired DSC distress call mode (On or Off).
33. Press the [FUNC] button again to enter the Channel Edit mode.
34. Use the [CH/WX] xxxx to select the desired DSC test call mode (On or Off).
35. Press the [FUNC] button again to enter the Channel Edit mode.
36. Use the [CH/WX] xxxx to select the desired DSC position request mode (On or Off).
37. Press the [FUNC] button again to enter the Channel Edit mode.
38. Use the [CH/WX] xxxx to select the desired DSC position send mode (On or Off).
39. Press the [FUNC] button again to enter the Channel Edit mode.
40. Use the [CH/WX] xxxx to select the desired DSC position polling mode (On or Off).
41. Press the [FUNC] button again to enter the Channel Edit mode.
42. Use the [CH/WX] xxxx to select the desired DSC individual polling mode (On or Off).
43. Press the [FUNC] button again to enter the Channel Edit mode.
44. Use the [CH/WX] xxxx to select the desired DSC group polling mode (On or Off).
45. Press the [FUNC] button again to enter the Channel Edit mode.
46. Use the [CH/WX] xxxx to select the desired DSC all ships polling mode (On or Off).
47. Press the [FUNC] button again to enter the Channel Edit mode.
48. Use the [CH/WX] xxxx to select the desired DSC distress polling mode (On or Off).
49. Press the [FUNC] button again to enter the Channel Edit mode.
50. Use the [CH/WX] xxxx to select the desired DSC test polling mode (On or Off).
51. Press the [FUNC] button again to enter the Channel Edit mode.
52. Use the [CH/WX] xxxx to select the desired DSC position request polling mode (On or Off).
53. Press the [FUNC] button again to enter the Channel Edit mode.
