To connect your LG S40Q Wireless Sound Bar to your TV, follow these steps:
1. Make sure your TV and sound bar are turned off.
2. Locate the HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel) port on your TV. This port is usually labeled "ARC" or "HDMI ARC."
3. Connect one end of an HDMI cable to the HDMI ARC port on your TV.
4. Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI OUT (TV ARC) port on the sound bar.
5. Turn on your TV and sound bar.
6. On your TV, go to the settings menu and navigate to the audio settings.
7. Select the option to enable HDMI ARC or HDMI CEC (Consumer Electronics Control).
8. The sound from your TV should now be played through the sound bar.
Note: If your TV does not have an HDMI ARC port, you can also connect the sound bar using an optical cable. Simply connect one end of the optical cable to the optical audio output on your TV and the other end to the optical input on the sound bar. Then, change the sound bar's input source to "OPTICAL" using the remote control.
