To inflate a car tire using the AVID POWER ACAP322 Dual Power Inflator/Deflator, please follow these step-by-step instructions:
Step 1: Choose the power supply
- If you are using the 12V DC power supply, insert the cigarette plug into your car's cigarette lighter socket.
- If you are using the 120V AC power supply, insert the 120 Volt AC power cord into a grounded 120 Volt AC outlet.
Step 2: Connect the Air Chuck to the Valve Stem
- Push the air chuck clamp up to unlock it.
- Place the air chuck on the valve stem of your car tire, ensuring that the threaded section of the valve stem is inside the air chuck.
- Press the air chuck clamp down until it stops or is parallel with the air hose.
Step 3: Set the Pressure Value
- Press the "PSI" button on the inflator to read the current tire pressure on the digital gauge.
- Press the "PSI" button again to select the tire pressure measurement unit (PSI, KPA, BAR).
- Press the "+" or "-" button to set the desired pressure for your car tire.
- The digital display will flash the set pressure value three times and then revert to displaying the current pressure value, indicating that the preset value has been successfully set.
Step 4: Choose High-pressure Mode
- Press the mode power switch to the right to activate the high-pressure mode for inflating car tires.
Step 5: Inflate the Tire
- The inflator will start inflating the tire automatically.
- Monitor the digital gauge to ensure that the tire pressure reaches the desired preset value.
- Once the preset pressure is reached, the inflator will automatically stop working.
Note: If you want to stop the inflator before reaching the preset pressure, simply switch the high-pressure mode or the AC/DC power switch to the neutral position.
