To connect your Vizio sound bar to your TV, you have a few options depending on the available ports on your TV. Here are the steps for each connection method:
1. HDMI Connection:
a. Connect one end of an HDMI cable to the HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel) port on your TV.
b. Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI OUT (ARC) port on your Vizio sound bar.
c. Make sure your TV's audio output is set to HDMI ARC in the TV settings.
2. Optical Connection:
a. Connect one end of an optical cable to the Optical (Toslink) port on your TV.
b. Connect the other end of the optical cable to the Optical (Toslink) port on your Vizio sound bar.
c. Make sure your TV's audio output is set to Optical in the TV settings.
3. 3.5mm AUX Connection:
a. Connect one end of a 3.5mm audio cable to the AUX port on your TV.
b. Connect the other end of the 3.5mm audio cable to the AUX port on your Vizio sound bar.
c. Make sure your TV's audio output is set to AUX or Line Out in the TV settings.
Once you have connected the sound bar to your TV, make sure both devices are powered on and set the sound bar to the corresponding input source (HDMI, Optical, or AUX) using the remote control or the buttons on the sound bar itself. You should now be able to enjoy audio from your TV through the Vizio sound bar.
