To replace the battery in the Tile RE-44001 Mate Bluetooth Tracker, follow these steps:
1. Locate the small groove on the side of the tracker. Insert a coin or a flat object, such as a screwdriver, into the groove.
2. Twist the coin or flat object counterclockwise to open the battery compartment.
3. Remove the old battery from the compartment and dispose of it properly.
4. Take the new CR1632 battery and insert it into the compartment, ensuring that the positive (+) side is facing up.
5. Close the battery compartment by twisting the coin or flat object clockwise until it is securely fastened.
6. Once the new battery is installed, the Tile app will automatically detect the tracker and update its battery status.
Note: It is recommended to use a CR1632 battery for replacement. Make sure to use a fresh battery to ensure optimal performance.
