The Prilotte 1080PNew-Y15 3 Channel Dash Cam utilizes loop recording, which allows newly recorded video to overwrite old video when the SD card is full. This means that the dash cam will continuously record and overwrite the oldest video files to make space for new recordings. However, when the G-sensor is activated by a collision or sudden movement, the video will be automatically locked and saved, preventing it from being overwritten. If the locked video fills up the SD card, you can format the SD card to free up more space for new recordings. Please refer to the user manual for instructions on how to format the SD card.
