Setting up the EWO's XRT140 Universal Remote Control is a simple process. Here are the step-by-step instructions:
1. Install Batteries: Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote control and insert two AAA batteries, making sure to match the polarity (+/-) correctly.
2. Turn on the Device: Turn on the device you want to control with the remote control, such as your TV or DVD player.
3. Auto-Search Method: Press and hold the "SET" button on the remote control until the LED indicator lights up.
4. Enter Auto-Search Mode: Press the corresponding device button (e.g., TV, DVD) on the remote control. The LED indicator will start flashing.
5. Start Auto-Search: Point the remote control towards the device and press the "POWER" button. The remote control will send different codes to the device until it turns off. Once the device turns off, release the "POWER" button.
