To connect and configure the Digi X4-Z1U-U901-A International Connectport, follow these steps:
1. Power on the device: Connect the power supply to the device and plug it into a power source.
2. Connect to the device: Use an Ethernet cable to connect the Ethernet port on the Connectport to your computer or network switch.
3. Access the management interface: Open a web browser on your computer and enter the default IP address of the Connectport (usually 192.168.1.1) in the address bar. Press Enter to access the management interface.
4. Login to the management interface: Enter the default username and password (usually admin/admin) to log in to the management interface.
5. Configure network settings: In the management interface, navigate to the Network Settings section. Here, you can configure the device's IP address, subnet mask, default gateway, and DNS settings according to your network requirements.
6. Configure cellular settings: If you are using cellular connectivity, navigate to the Cellular Settings section. Here, you can configure the APN (Access Point Name) and other cellular network settings provided by your cellular carrier.
7. Configure security settings: In the Security Settings section, you can enable and configure various security features such as VPN (Virtual Private Network) and encryption settings to ensure secure communication.
8. Configure I/O interfaces: If you need to use the I/O interfaces (serial ports, digital inputs/outputs, analog inputs), navigate to the I/O Settings section. Here, you can configure the settings for these interfaces, such as baud rate, data format, and I/O behavior.
9. Save and apply the configuration: Once you have made all the necessary configuration changes, click on the Save or Apply button to save the settings and apply them to the device.
10. Test the connectivity: After the configuration is applied, test the connectivity by accessing the device from your computer or sending data through the configured interfaces.
