Setting up the Pairtty G008 Universal Smart TV Remote is usually straightforward and does not require complex procedures. Here are the steps to configure the remote:
1. Check the LED indicator: Before installing the batteries, hold down the MUTE and POWER buttons on the remote for three seconds to turn on the LED indicator.
2. Enter the TV code: The remote may require you to enter a 3-digit TV code. Consult the provided list of codes and enter the correct code. If the LED light turns off, it means the code is correct. If the LED indicator remains on, there may be an error in the code entry. Try entering the code again.
3. Test the remote: After entering the code, test the remote to ensure it is working properly. If the remote doesn't work with the entered code, try using another code from the list and repeat step 2.
4. Brand Search: If the provided codes do not work, you can try the Brand Search method. Refer to the user manual for the specific instructions on how to perform a Brand Search.
5. Start using the remote: Once the remote is successfully configured, you can start using it to control your smart TV. When the LED flashes three times after pressing the brand-specific button for 5 seconds, it indicates that the configuration is complete.
Default Mode: By default, the Pairtty G008 remote is compatible with various TV brands, including LG, Samsung, Sony, Philips, Panasonic, and Sharp. If you want to restore the remote to its factory defaults, press and hold the [OK] and [0] buttons for three seconds until the LED flashes four times.
