To set up the ASUS Lyra Voice (AC2200) WiFi Tri-Band Router, you can follow these steps:
1. Connect the Primary Lyra to your modem:
a. Unplug your cable/DSL modem and remove the battery if it has one.
b. Connect your modem to the Primary Lyra using the network cable provided.
c. Power on your cable/DSL modem and check the LED lights to ensure the connection is active.
d. Plug in the power adapter to the Primary Lyra and wait until the LEDs turn solid white, indicating that it is ready for setup.
2. Set up your Lyra WiFi system:
a. Method 1: Through the App
- Download the free ASUS Lyra app on your mobile device.
- Launch the app and follow the instructions provided to complete the setup process.
b. Method 2: Through Web GUI
- Connect your PC or notebook to the Primary Lyra via WiFi using the network name "ASUS_XX_AMAPS".
- Open a web browser and you will be redirected to the ASUS Setup Wizard. If not, navigate to http://router.asus.com.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup process.
3. Adding other Lyra devices to the network:
a. Method 1: Through the App
- Launch the Lyra app and click the "+" icon on the upper right corner.
- Choose "Add Lyra to current network" and follow the instructions provided to complete the process.
b. Method 2: Through Web GUI
- Press the Pairing button on the Primary Lyra until the LED starts blinking green.
- Press the Pairing button on the second Lyra until the LED starts blinking green, then turns solid light cyan, indicating the pairing process is completed.
Note: The pairing feature only works with the Primary Lyra device connecting to the modem.
