To set up the ASUS 90IG01F1-BM2G00 AC3200 Tri-Band Gigabit WiFi Router, follow these steps:
1. Connect your modem to the WAN port of the router using an Ethernet cable.
2. Connect your computer to any of the LAN ports on the router using another Ethernet cable.
3. Power on the modem and wait for it to establish a connection.
4. Power on the router and wait for it to boot up.
5. Open a web browser on your computer and enter "http://router.asus.com" or "http://192.168.1.1" in the address bar.
6. You will be prompted to enter the default username and password. By default, the username is "admin" and the password is also "admin". If you have changed these credentials, enter the updated username and password.
7. Once logged in, you will be guided through the Quick Internet Setup process. Follow the on-screen instructions to configure your internet connection type (DHCP, PPPoE, Static IP, etc.) and enter the necessary details.
8. After completing the internet setup, you can proceed to configure the wireless settings. You can set up separate names and passwords for the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, or use the same name and password for both.
9. Save your settings and wait for the router to apply the changes. It may take a few minutes for the router to establish a stable internet connection.
10. Once the setup is complete, you can connect your devices to the WiFi network using the provided SSID and password.
